Completing the Bachelor of Applied Science On Campus

When completing the Bachelor of Applied Science on the Missouri State University campus in Springfield, Missouri, you have the ability to choose from among hundreds of courses to complete the elective portion of your degree. These upper division courses can come from any academic department on the Missouri State University campus. It is because the Department of Industrial Management has a strong technical management foundation that many students will choose to complete the entire elective portion of their degree with courses offered by the IDM department. For students with interests other than industrial management, such as computers, child care, or accounting for example, upper division courses from other Missouri State departments can be taken assuming the necessary prerequisite classes have been met.

Completing the BAS on campus at Missouri State University provides a student with the greatest flexibility in choosing coursework tailored to his or her individual goals and ensures completion in a timely manner. For a list of courses that are available to BAS students check out the upper division courses (300-400 level) from the Missouri State University Catalog.
