Technology Management 

Program Requirements

All hours completed in the two-year Associate of Science or Associate of Applied Science technical degree may be applied towards the completion of a Bachelor of Applied Science in Technology Management degree at Missouri State University.

Additionally, all required upper-division courses can be completed online or remotely through interactive television. Online and remote delivery of Missouri State University Industrial Management courses greatly reduces or eliminates the time required on campus for students across the country. Requirements for graduation with a BAS are as follows:

Completion of an accredited Associate of Science or Associate of Applied Science degree.

Completion of Missouri State University General Education requirements: The number of hours required at Missouri State University is dependent upon courses taken at the community college. It is recommended that students take general education courses transferable to Missouri State University; thus, reducing credit hours required for completion of the BAS degree. Visit the  General Education website for more information on fulfilling this requirement.

Forty hours of Upper-Division Coursework: Thirty-seven of which must be advisor approved upper-division (300+) courses; Twelve hours of these must be from the Department of Industrial Management; to include IDM 359 (3) Principles of Project Management and IDM 458 (3) Technology Management. Twenty-Five of the required thirty-seven may be from any academic unit on Missouri State's campus; classes from the Department of Industrial Management are encouraged.

Completion of Missouri State University Residency Requirement: 30 hours from Missouri State University, 20 of these hours must chronologically be the last courses taken for completion of the BAS.

Completion of a minimum of 125 total hours: to include: all general education component courses, upper-division required degree courses, and courses completed for the Associate of Science or Associate of Applied Science degree through a regionally accredited college.
